A list of all scam unregulated 3rd party educational vendors

Quote from bone:

I have a client trading trading live money who just reported he is up 41 % year-to-date, after suffering an 8 % drawdown in July.

And he's a newbie.

What planet are you from ?

prob is, if you were 1/10 as good as you say, you'd be a billionaire by now.

sad truth

post realtime entries and exits to prove your power. else its all random garbage. Anyone with multiple clients will have winners by luck.

Education or not, the reason most of the traders lose money is because they lack discipline, trade w/o stops, or just don't follow or even have a strategy. It all comes down to that.

Stock, you wouldn't know how to chart a spread trade if it sat on your mother's face. In the appropriate forum and amongst an audience that could actually interpret/understand my talking points, I do just that when applicable. Please go to the 'Futures Spread Trading' thread in this Educational Section, go to page 19, to the post I made on 07-21-11 at 10:36 AM.

yeah, its real hard to chart the diff between two contracts, that's why they have to pay you the big bucks to learn the secret code.

of course once the big buck have been procured, the performance of the spread trade becomes, how shall I say it, m00t.

How is making $1260 on a one-lot futures spread with a max drawdown of $50 exactly moot, you idiot ?

many dont know that elite traders are actually farmers at heart.

they must be, since so many tend to cherry picking

here, have one on me

I think you missed the point Stock777 was trying to make. He suggested that you document live trades in order to create credibility , not trades a week after the fact.

I've got another one for the list!! BERTVANARKEL.NL It's a Dutch guy. He used to give face to face courses on how to trade in the 90's (my dad went to one). But when he started to get nothing but complaints and people were losing money using his approach he went into the shelter.

A few years later he sold his list of former clients to real estate agents who claimed they made 9% return on investments in the middle-east. They started contacting those people. Not knowing these guys got the info from Van Arkel, some of them gave it a go. Of course this was all a big fake. The money mr. Van Arkel's former clients invested went to luxury cars, big boats, women and champagne! Eventually they got caught.

But Mr. Bert van Arkel got a good sum of money for delivering the client list! Now he runs a website to scrab a few bucks. You can subscribe to his service for only €995,- per year. For that you get 2 to 5 investment tips per month...

So EMG, bertvanarkel.nl can be added to the list!

1. That trade is not after the fact - we are still long the thing and are getting out in the roll (like right now).

2. Since you are a grains guy, go over to the grain section and look at the ZW H2-N2 spread which I am long currently. The profit and stop loss targets are there as well. These are swing trades which can last for several weeks and even a few months.

3. I cannot gain credibility with guys who I would not consider taking on as clients, and who obviously do not understand what a spread trade is or what it looks like. Shaka Frits is not a professional trader and Stock 777 is not a professional trader. I do not take newbies or retail punters on as clients - never have, never will.

4. The point of this thread is to identify scam vendors - which I clearly am not according to my clientele. The retail punters can pass any judgement they choose and take all the cheap shots they care to - they are not clients, they do not know me, and they know nothing about what my client deliverable is. Has anyone identified a ripped off client of mine either here on ET or any other reputable forum ? Would someone PM Baron and ask him if he has ever heard of an ET Member who was a client of mine and felt scammed ?
