A list of all scam unregulated 3rd party educational vendors

Quote from Minetoo:

Do not know if this guy is legit :
Larry Levin, floor trader
website: tradingadvantage.com and secretsoftraders.com

He does post his audited trade records as proof of success. Has a live trading room, book and training, etc.

anybody thinks larry levin should be on the list?

Since the working assumption here is that everybody is guilty until proven otherwise, wouldn't it be easier to list the legit vendors??

Probably there aren't that many anyway....

I agree with you Greg, why not spend $29 to see for yourself. The problem is however that the fun then realy starts. They make the sandbar very low to get you in. And after that short period they start the real selling.

"to become a better trader I advice you to buy our course on mental issues. It's on sale now for only $499,-" "No it's not our system that is failing, you need to improve your skills to become a professional trader! Why not enter into our personal coaching program? It usually costs $4995,- but as I realy want you to become that better trader and I realy award you the succes I'll arrange you a deal for only $4500,- How does that sound h"!?

And before you know it you'll be flat broke begging you're old boss to be able to get a job as a cleaner where you used to be assistant manager :D !

Shaka  ,

The value metric still holds. If the higher priced services deliver the kind of benefit (notice I did not yet use the word results) in the eyes of the purchaser, than it still meets the value assessment.

But, therein lies the problem of assessing a value as the benefits perceived differ from one person to another. If learning a strategy can be analogized to taking a trip then some would be satisfied with a brochure of the destination and a map. They will be happy exploring, taking detours and not knowing useful information that a map does not contain. Some are poor map readers and prefer more assistance so they use a GPS system. Some want to get there more quickly, but also learn more details about the journey and with the least mistakes so they hire a guide and charter a bus with others going the same way. They get their with the benefits provided by the guide and take turns driving to get the hands on experiences. And some will want and can afford a personal guide.

Each may feel they got good value for the services they bought. But to those who bought less expensive services, the more expensive one may not meet their value point.

We should take care not to deprecate those with less ability or with different criteria when assessing the "value" of an offering.

Quote from Greg88:

Why not spend $29. to try it out ?
If someone is a serious trader- that fee for 10days-
is just a 10days of coffee's.

Yes well if you are talking about who I think you are- someone told me that after the 10 days it sets to auto bill your card at the full $350/m. They also said if you ring up to try and cancel you get hard sold and patronized in the hope you will stay on.

When you buy 10 cups of coffee, Starbucks doesn't try and bill you for another 100 cups every month whether you want them or not..

Ladies and Gentlemen:

We have a former PureTick member who feels that puretick is not a scam and should be taken off the list.

If nobody seeks to challenge Greg88, PureTick will be off the list tomorrow afternoon after the market closes.

U have 1 day. Bring them up!!!!

Looks like nobody wants to put up a fight against puretick. In that case, puretick is off the list.

That does not mean puretick is a holy grail system. This means greg88 proved puretick is not a scam.

To EMG & all traders who want to work at Trading seriously.
Thanks Emg- we've turned this discussion in a
serious direction where some can put forward
good and poor systems- with a true/actual experiences.
*
The site I've supported is where I've had to really
work hard myself- mostly by writing down a trading plan,
and sticking to it-they pushed that in the beginning.
*
Yes, there is a real 'sell-pitch' given to you(to not quit) if you want to leave- I got that too- but I see that in other businesses too.
I only support that site, because I improved there.
But left that site for my job responsibilities.
Not only that- I saw others improve there as well- by their
actual calls and trades online. I've had other coaches , but here
was the best progress.
So, If you had a bad experience there; continue to move on
and post a site where you had a great experience- to help
others out.
*
It's a lot of work- but I've been rewarded by just doing that.
Also- I did not pay that $4995. tuition- I only joined in the
chat room and hired one of their coaches for a few hours-
that helped immensely
Thanks for listening- hope that helps. There is no holy-grail system- I have the receipts to prove that !
Cheers, G88

Ken,
Yup- that's your opinion and that's ok with me.
I stayed with them longer than any one here; so I can
only tell you my results. They have stepped up their 'sales'
pitch-which I don't think they really needed to do-imho.

I hope you can put forward a site or group you
can recommend.

What site's do you have good results with ?
Tx. Greg88
