A lesson in the devasting effects of left wing policies!

I am amazed this clueless fuckhead Goodell has not been fired. I mean seriously, what exactly would he have to do to get fired? Maybe preside over a long series of embarrassing debacles, ranging from unfairly persecuting and slandering the league's single most prominent player to endless disputes about player discipline to amazingly weak leadership in the face of the kneeling controversy. On his achievement list for this year will be alienating a sizeable percentage of the league's fans to the point they are staying away. Anyone see the stands at last night's Jets/Bills game? Half full, at most. Oh yeah, and alienating one of the league's core sponsors. Awesome leadership, Roger.

BTW -- my understanding is that the attendance statistics is how many tickets were sold, not how many people showed up to the game. Most are season tickets.

It says attendance,not tickets sold

at·tend·ance

the number of people present at a particular event, function, or meeting.

plural noun: attendances
"reports placed the attendance at 500,000"

I've already had this discussion with him in another thread. Yes, the attendance figures given out by the clubs are "paid attendance", it also includes tickets given out. everyone understands this except Tony.

Pizza Hut says sales are just fine after Papa John's complaints about NFL protests

Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter blamed NFL anthem protests for lower-then-expected sales this week, which opened the company up to ruthless mocking on the internet.

On Thursday, Pizza Hut countered Papa John’s claim and wanted to let everyone know that their business hasn’t been hurt by Yum Brands’ relationship with the NFL.

According to Business Insider, Yum Brands CEO Greg Creed told investors that Pizza Hut hasn’t seen the impact from NFL player protests that Papa John’s claimed to be damaging their business. Creed said:

“We’re not seeing any impact from any of that.”

While Papa John’s is recognized as the “official” pizza of the NFL, brands like Pizza Hut and Dominos rely considerably on NFL fans for their game-day sales. If fans were turning off the NFL due to player protests, Pizza Hut would see impacted sales figures. Pizza Hut’s comments suggest that Papa John’s struggles are food issues more so than they are results of an NFL boycott. Fans certainly backed up that stance.
Pap
I have an idea, why doesn’t papa johns stop being associated with the nfl. Then we wouldn’t have to deal with crybabies.
My guess is that they won't renew the contract. But, they they will still have to deal with you cry babies.
