The greatest waste is the endless waste of human capital. If we manage to transcend the chasm between what we're capable of and what we are before we exterminate ourselves it will be a miracle.
 
There are so many talented people who got a bad start at life and thus cannot always use their full potential because they are too busy trying to survive. I hope this boy at least will be able to break that cycle and that the people around him will help him to do so.
