Let's examine the card itself. It describes x as a "Hedge Fund Manager." How absurd. Real hedge fund managers don't put "hedge fund manager" on their card, just as investment bankers don't put "investment banker." They put something like "Vice President" or "Managing Director." One's name should be in capital letters, as American Psycho makes clear, ...

To me, he is just another person. If he is a poster on this board, then why not just chat and talk about something you both have in common--like trading.

If he is a quant trader who got one of those mathematics/physic degree, then you could ask him how he got into trading.

Keep him in your contact. You never know when you found the Holy Grail and need someone to help manage your own hedge fund.
