The left has a lot to overcome for them to gain some credibility on the climate issue. One, had they not been running around in the 70's claiming the world was going to end by the end of the century, they might be taken more seriously today. Two, had they not been caught red handed cherry picking data they might have a stronger argument. Three, if their representation wasn't a bunch of do as I say, not as I do billionaire polluters, they might have a leg to stand on. Fourth, if they would actually address the modern day polluters instead of pissing and moaning about how bad America used to pollute, they...you get it. They're full of shit up to their ears and expext to be taken seriously.

See thats the thing, I wouldnt necessarily consider myself a full on "Global warming denier"
Im sure humans cause some degree of warming, no matter how minute. IMO you only need to walk into downtown in NewYork or T.O. on a hot day and see the kind of heat that is added, and think that is used to be a field with grass there.
With that said, the numbers are clearly cooked, the models have all been way off, and still no one can prove that added heat is necessarily a bad thing. Life has absolutely thrived under conditions where the temperature was much warmer, there is all kinds of areas on the planet that would benefit from a warmer planet like Northern U.S./Canada, and Trumps best friend the Russians.
Thats how you know its a religion not science, even if the planet is heating up, every thing from global warming cant be bad if life has flourished the most in history at the times with the most heat and the most carbon in the atmosphere.
Also 10 years from now when renewable technology catches up in terms of price, fossil fuels will be dead, there is no reason to cause suffering, today, for something we KNOW is guaranteed to happen tomorrow. If we just give it time.
