You know the 'mainstream' media is one, giant failure when you can glean more accurate and hard-hitting facts and interviews with public figures from watching a faux news show on Comedy Central, than you can from watching Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC or any of the other alleged 'professional' media sources.
And you can. Stewart leads the way. There's a valid reason his show has been on the air for as long as it has, consistently gets amazing ratings, and attracts and audience that is better educated and more affluent, on average, than almost any 'real' news show.
