Amen! This is at the core of everyone getting behind the Trump train. It's not that they love the guy, it's that they hate the establishment so much. The establishment that has continually lied, cheated and stole the American dream right out from under them.
I've written it here before. A Trump presidency falls squarely into the category of be careful what you wish for. Hate and contempt blind the judgment of otherwise reasonable people. Right now we the people aren't feeling to reasonable. If we're going down, you motherfuckers are going down with us is the war cry. Problem is those at the top are well insulated, protected, and financially able to abandon ship if necessary. Are you? Be honest, and you'll know just how tight the rock and hard place is getting for the average American. Do we continue the status quo slow death of a million cuts, or go all in on one roll of the dice? Longshots are fantastic when they come in. They just don't payoff very often.
