Because crytpo is make believe. You need a greater fool to take it off your hands.
But you don't know. That's just an opinion. You think you know but you have no idea.
Buy low & sell High. Isn't that kinda how growth-stocks work?
Does this mean you will never own it? All central banks know they can't print more trillions without causing an inflationary bomb. But they also know that no more stimulus is crashing the markets and the economy. The debt based system and fiat currencies are on their last legs. I bet within 5 years you will be owning some sort of crypto.
The debt based system and fiat currency have been with us for quite a while. When the system breaks down the currency is revalued. (Old Peso exchanged for new peso) Life goes on. Crypto won't change the way the economy functions.
If you believe this then I can understand why you don't see the value in Bitcoin. But I believe we are going to go through one of the biggest transformations in history. Entire governments will change because of crypto. If they don't, they will end up third world countries. Imagine a country today where the government banned cell phone towers and the internet. Luckily Bitcoin will allow you to join the system at any time since it doesn't discriminate. So no problem if you don't see it yet.
We can go back as far as the Roman era. At one time the denarius was made of pure silver. In just a few hundred years it was down to almost nothing. Nothing has changed over time with countries continuing their further debasement of their currencies. It is also why the fall of the Roman empire occurred. NOT because of lead-aquaducts, invading barbarians, or invasions from Mars.
You realize that if the govenrment banned the internet your crypto is worthless.
That is what bothers me. Could the government control the internet?
