Exactly right.
Today's "Far Right" is actually our conservatives. The libs throw that word out like it means the equivalent of "Nazi" and is most evil... when Nazism is actually Far-Left.
Left = Socialism, Progressivism/American Democrat, Communism, Marxism, Nazism
Right = Freedom, as espoused by America's genius Founders and somewhat adopted by other western countries at times.
Most of the world has been governed by some form of BIG, opressive, Lefty government and is currently. (I include true monarchy as big government.) Even in feudal Europe... most everything was "owned by the king". And if you went against him, if even only in voice, you're likely to be dealt with severely.
Could be that the only true "Right" the world has known is America as orginally envisioned.
Other than having been brainwashed, I can't fathom why the American Left even exists... other that the usual "lust for power" and "greed" reasons, of course.

How about Stem cell research for starters? How much discovery would have been done by now had it not funding been blocked by conservatives. Yeah sure, "small, fringe part".
Sure, tell it to our beloved leader who calls free press enemy of the people, sides with foreign adversaries over his own FBI.
Trump is everything our founding fathers stood against. Brain washed is a perfect word to describe all his true believers.

You have this exactly backwards. The Founders certainly did not envision, nor would they have approved of, a permanent class of career pols. They were all successful private businessmen or farmers. They certainly were not afraid to challenge the orthodoxy of their time either, just as Trump has.
In taking an America first approach, he was following the lead of two of our most prominent Founders. George Washington's Farewell Address to us noted that "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world". Good advice then, still good. The inaugural pledge of Thomas Jefferson was no less clear: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations-entangling alliances with none."
Trump's supporters are quite aware of his shortcomings. Ronald Reagan is not coming back from the dead to rescue our country a second time however. Trump is the best hope we have. Out of 21 or so presidential candidates, he was the only one who put the interests of Americans first.
Bravo that.
Regardless of Trump's personality and whatever his past personal life issues, he still ain't a "Lefty, trying to destroy America".
During the Dark Ages when our country was far more religious and conservative than it is now, we managed to cure polio, win two world wars and put a man on the moon. We built the Hoover Dam in four years, the Golden Gate Bridge in less than three (and under budget), Today we can't even build a simple border wall to repel an invasion.
The argument against Stem Cell research is not about God or religion. It's about fetal welfare. Whether you agree with it or not is irrelevant. But stop making up shit.
Look no further with Bush Admin cutting off funding for this research. It has everything to do with pro life conservatives.
Lets not forget how they interfered with provision of conception-avoiding contraception in so many poor areas driving up the number of abortions. Teenage cross-your-legs-for-Jesus classes were as misguided as they come.
