I respectfully disagree. He’s so popular with the base and if you look at all the people who ran last time, they were pretty boring/uncharismatic individuals. I think he would win the nomination easily if he chose to run again. Many will feel it was stolen from him. In recent years the losing nominee has not run again, but if you go back there’s precedent for it (Jefferson, Jackson, WJB, Cleveland). TR ran again, but was running against his party’s sitting president and ended up forming his own party.
