A baby is condemned to death by socialized medicine

there is no way you are waggie and once worked for a hedge fund. you are so a dnc troll and you act so dumb..

its one thing to not be able to afford more treatment and have your insurance company reject paying for the treatment or medicine.

its quite different having a govt official or panel tell you, you can't even take you baby home and try and have him treated somewhere else.

don't you have fear of govt officials and mad people with power?

LOL, look at right wingers pretending this is some unique situation of 'socialized medicine' when incidents like these happen everyday with the 'free market system'. The only reason you guys pretend to be upset about this baby dying is because some insurance shareholder is not able to make money off it.

Leftist idiots. I can't dumb it down any further for you.

European Court Rules Terminal Baby Must Die Despite Parents Willingness to Pay for Other Options.
They raised over a million dollars to get that baby treatment in the States. Even if there's a high probability it won't work... they deserve the right to try. I don't understand this.
...lost for words.

It was not a govt official or a panel, it was the courts because of the severity of the medical condition.

This happens now. Insurance companies in the US deny treatment like this everyday. It's so commonplace that it doesn't make the news.

Nope, they have protocols but if they denied lifesaving treatment, they would be looking at huge liability. Plus, they can't stop you from getting treatment you pay for yourself. The more important point is that consumers have a choice under a free market system. If an insurer gets a reputation for denying coverage, consumers can go to another company. Obviously that only works prospectively but it is still a powerful incentive.

With a system run by government bureaucrats, we all know that the elite and well-connected will be favored.

Please explain the economics. They are using private, not public funds.

They have to conserve fund to pay for the enormous muslim families they are also supporting on their welfare system.

It's worth it because immigrants add so much to the society.

so you are trying to tell us no one but the courts denied treatment and denied the parents the right to take their child home or for other treatment?

Courts upheld what the specialists in the field determined, there is no treatment for what the child is suffering from.
