I had to leave the office for a flight at 2pm which caused me to take trades between 11-2 which I usually don't do. I was a little tilted from missing a perfect BHP short that I called to geezy (and he took for +0.20), then my RIMM trade comes 1c from tgt.

Congrats puddles,

glad you were able to maintain discipline and stick to the method and let the reversion to mean work to your advantage this time around.

I haven't posted in a while, so how about a question . . . or two.

the last RIMM short trade worked well but doesn't look like some of your other entry setups. If a small retracement is made, we've seen where you like to enter on the break of a prior bar, a new lod/hod or the break of a round number. But this last RIMM trade didn't make a text book retracement (no green bars, no measured move higher, etc). You essentially entered after a couple of doji bars that each closed lower.

Did you give consideration to the pattern or were you simply looking for a pause in price action and wanting the downdraft to carry you on the next wave lower?

Each time a lower high or higher high forms, are there any particular price patterns you see that rule out an entry? For example, the GS trade you took yesterday was a break of a prior bar, but a break of a prior bar occurred two bars earlier. Any reason you didn't take that one.

Inquiring minds want to know :)

Anyway, continued good luck and thanks for continuing the effort to post your charts here.

Keep trading.

J.Scott
