A 70k bet that I can't make a 50% gain in 2009

1/13/09:

Nothing looks very strong, but going to be hard to short. Will strictly scalp/daytrade today & only look for the purest of set-ups on my 5 min charts ( scottrade only allows you 5 charts open at a time so my visability is low, plus trading w/ only 1 17" monitor). Will keep an eye on MON, USO for scalp longs today.Let's see how the horses break from the starting gate........

NOTE: Still holding IBM swing long. Tried to enter a RMBS short this a.m. ( at 10:05 for 11.15)to swing, but scottrade said no shares available.
 
1/14/09:

Will have early bias to the the long side in the a.m., then we'll see how the day plays out. Nothing on the indexes looks very strong right now, just playing for a 1-2 day bounce on the markets is all since we are a few days down into a prior support area.

markets still starting to look like Mike Douglas did in the beginning "Falling Down".

1/15/09:

With gap down in the a.m. will look to scalp long. AAPL should be in play today too with a chance to scalp long, but once again I'll see how the market plays out and will have my short hat right beside me in case it gets too cold.
