999 and gold.

The recent run up in gold into Wednesday's date, 9/9/09, has left me somewhat unsettled that there is a remote (but largely unmentioned) fear of terrorist activity leading into the 8 year anniversary of 9/11 attacks and the numerical date corresponding with Britain's emergency number, 999.

Gold trading around $999 tonight as well, unsettling...
 
What big dog decided he liked stock futures @ 666? I think the ticket punched 665.75 so someone with depth was smacking the BUY MKT button @ his price, the mark of the beast.

1007 resistance on Dec. is important. Personally, I think gold will touch 1,150 before EOY.
