After seeing the last couple elections, I think the people vote for whoever the media tells them to vote for. Elections are nothing more than popularity contests with an emphasis on attacking the other guy rather than putting forward any good ideas of your own. And now the media is clearly biased (the Republicans held out the carrot on the stick of unrestricted mergers and less monopoly prevention if they supported him, according to ex-employees at Fox News).Quote from FredBloggs:
because people vote for economic conditions in their own country, rather than the good of the world.

What would be the obvious result if the laws of physics were suspended (like on 9/11) permanently:
Temperature of burning jet fuel: 1300 farenheit.
Temperature required to melt construction grade steel: 2600+ f.
So, um...if the official story were true, every frickin' jet plane would fall out of the sky after 1 hour of flight!!
Long story short: those buildings were brought down by explosives. That's why they fell symetrically into their own footprint, even though they were hit asymetrically.
oh, and most importantly, in any murder investigation, the first thing they ask is: Who bennefits? Not the people we attacked, that's for certain.

I made around 1600 euro trading 1-lots on the DAX in the aftermath, just from the volatility.
Of course, since I don't know how to trade properly yet, I lost all but 300 of it during the US hours. =P
