91% approve SOTU AND Obama?

Quote from futurecurrents:

Well we all know what the real problem is.....an obstructionist, intransigent GOP who will do all they can to block any progress that could possibly be credited to Obama and the dems.
That's funny. I thought it was an obstructionist. intransigent Senate and President who won't even allow bills that come out of the people's House to come up for a vote and are under constant threat of veto from the President.

First of all, don't pretend to have any idea what I think or who I stand for, or to group me in with any "guys" or group of any sort. That's your first mistake.

As for what occurs during election time, the topic of this thread is the CBS poll regarding the SOTU. That's it. And it is also the only thing I am commenting on.

You should probably have done your usual snide remark one-liner and left it at that instead of trying to judge me.
Oh, come on. Take a joke, why don't you. That was obviously in fun. Perhaps your sense of smell is keener than your sense of humor. (See? There I go again.)

Please. People joke with friends or other folks they have a history of being polite and civil towards. You and I are neither friends, nor do we have the aforementioned history.

You were being Gabfly, as you always are. You meant the comment exactly how I took it. But I repeat - don't put me into the same group as you do other folks on this site, as I fall into my own category.

Obama is claiming credit for what he thinks is improvement in the economy over the last year.

I only see two fundamental changes in the last 12 months. One is the near end of the stimulus.

Second is election and turnover of the House and the stopping of almost all of Obama's actions in Congress.

Have these two events been the cause of any economic hope?

Look, I was kidding. Sometimes I do mean offense when I feel it's warranted, but this wasn't one of those times.
