I can assure you that you were not aware a human can go to jail for 25 years for stealing under $10.00 worth of food......I am not saying that the 3 strikes rule is wrong I am applying the rule to certain crimes; like the man in California ( and there are more in his situation ) ...Yet a Drunk Driver kills someone and gets less time.....Does this make sense to you???

Yep. 3-strike petty criminals get thrown in for eons and murderers and rapists get less severe sentences or are released early for over-crowding.

Doesn't make any sense at all, but pretty much nothing about the "justice" system makes much sense IMHO.
