9:35AM, May 05, Who Is Shorting NDX

Xflat: you always answer so fast, except when facts and math are involved. I invite you to show what you know about probs. In math/prob, there is only one answer. You will not be able to use "I believe, it think, it seems to me, and all that empty talk some people use ..."

Take a crack at it, and be careful not to leave you teeth in there (assuming that you are not teethless).

PS: what did you major in by the way? In laughs in the bar next to college where you went if any? :D

The title is self explanatory. Who Is Shorting NDX?

Mike, Andrew, and Jennifer are short. Steve, Max, and Ellen are long. Hope this answers the question. Why did you ask?

To make money, help some make money, and estimate/identify those making/losing money at ET. The number of losers should be the majority both in market and in threads on the right side of market.

How to make mice disappear from an area?

One answer: bring a cat to the area.

The weakest of all cats is this question with made some people become silent (other questions would follow depending on conduct and knowledge of class. There is an order but one needs first to be de-confused by randomness):

As an exercise what do you think is the probability to call, say price of NDX at 10:10AM, as the top for the session from 9:30AM to 4:00PM, in these two cases:

1. Before the sesssion starts (390 minutes).
2. During the session at 10:10AM (350 minutes remaining).

Everyone can give an answer. We will see how good ET is with probs.

You may continue to ask away all the questions you please but I will answer only those I choose and in the manner I choose. I read with a chuckle the way you spent your Sunday posting on ET about % gains in shorting. As with many of the questions you pose the vague nature of the question lead to quite a varied field of answer and no true answer. Then again you were forced to change the specifics of the question on several occasions.

Ask yourself “is this what I have become?” …. Go ahead I’ll wait.

Once again you cant address the specific points without stooping to childish insults and personal attacks. Sort of sad being that you’ve scripted a handful of long winded posts on how you take the high road and you’ve gone so far as to ask the ET police to cover your back because people were picking on you.

Finally to address your post script:

In case you’ve not noticed I don’t fill space on ET with useless bragging or statements about myself or others I can not back up with cold hard evidence. You many once again take the low road and nip at my ankles with your childish attacks which have no effect on me whatsoever.

As far as where I went to school, what my degrees are in, and how I spent my days there… its of no use for you to know, nor is it possible for me to show my degrees over the internet. Much in the same way you cant substantiate the trades you claim to make. That being said you’ll have to keep up with your guesses and childish insults.

Have a nice night.

Seek randomness in the season of high trees and wither stoically in portended repose.

In this answer you shall seek the high fruit and virgin dungeon of past experiences, preambled via another march past the shadows of disengagement.

I do not recall me putting anybody down here on ET while arguing. So, please argue, chime in! I would love to here your opinion. It does not matter how many screens I have (its about 250 by now  ) I could still be wrong! I will be the first to admit it. So fire away!

what are the screens everybody is so excited about? computer monitors? stock screeners?

I must be insecure about something so I had to ask the above. now the question is what exactly i am insecure about and how to deal with this insecurity. should I keep typing to make the insecurity go away? I am not making things worse, am I? oh, crap, I am still here. help! thanks

Half of the nation of Bs mistake what it sees,
as the forest is always on the opposite side of the hill it sees.

Fruits in trees are given to the king who sees,
forests and trees, on which the nation of B's disagrees.

He sees many forests, and the number and size of their trees.

Better pick the tallest of all trees in a forest with less trees,
than in a forest with more, but shorter, trees,
if you are not the king of Bs.

The last is an advice that the king gives to all his nation of Bs,
Which still disagrees, no matter the number of screens via which it thinks it sees.

Bulls and Bears are the main animals in the nation of BBs.

I like it! I would also add this from my previous post:

"Better pick the tallest of all trees in a forest with less trees,
than in a forest with more, but shorter, trees,
if you are not the king of Bs."

Why did you remove that trade you posted? Oh thats right it told a different story then the bs you've been typing today.

riskfree, do you edit your posts to remove certain trades that do not work out? it serves no purpose. any reasonable person will agree that nobody can make perfect calls all the time. so, why not leave the bad trades/calls in for the sake of accurate history? if you keep making a reasonable % of good calls, people will surely recognize your skills.

you have been making good calls but how much of it is due to selective editting one has to wonder (if true, i myself have not see the editted post mentioned above)?
