Not all indicators run on the same data, we're using multiple fundamental data points in our unique algorithms to calculate some of our new indicators and we can't see any others like them on TradingView, for example calculating a fair value for stocks based on forward earnings estimates, business growth rates and balance sheet items.
 
As promised I'm going to demonstrate how our new TradingView indicators can help your trading and investing get better.

Today I would like to show you the 3D Trailing Stop and the Seasonality Forecast indicators. Both of these indicators work on every asset inside the TradingView platform!

We all know trailing stops do a good job at keeping us in the trend however most of them are 1 dimensional in that they just use moving averages, trend lines, ATRs, X bar breakouts, etc.. to trigger a signal whereas our trailing stop uses the Trend, Volatility and Volume to determine where your stop should be placed, hence why ours is a 3 Dimensional (3D) Trailing Stop.

The idea of this indicator is to keep you in good trends for longer whilst getting you out of reversing trends earlier.. on any timeframe..

Next up is our Seasonality Forecast indicator, which gives you a estimated return shown on every chart you look at for the next X days (you can choose how many days).

It's based on the average return for the exact same calendar periods going back up to 20 years so you can see how that particular asset has performed historically.

Seasonality is all around us and can be used to add strength to your entry signals, no matter the asset.

The data is within pine script and sourced from multiple tier 1 global providers. We've coded our own unique formula's that result in indicators unlike anything else currently available.

I replied to your earlier post above saying we use fundamental data in some of our indicators, things like forward earnings estimates, business growth rates, balance sheet items. We also use other things like market breadth readings and volatility futures term structures. Some of our indicators use a combination of technicals and fundamentals to create unique and quick insights into any stock.

Do you have a measure to tell you when stocks are risky?

Most traders don't.. and we didn't either..

That's why we created 2 new indicators.. Market Risk ON/OFF and Stock Crash Risk to tell us when to avoid buying stocks, or when to buy hedges or when to position a portfolio more defensively.

The Market Risk ON/OFF indicator tells you when the entire market is risky and to expect more volatility.. it uses 3 different inputs to determine whether the market is in a Risk-on or a Risk-off mode..

The first input is price action by the S&P 500 Index, the second is market breadth (that is the number of advancing stocks vs declining stocks) and the last is the term structure of volatility futures. All of them have a "tell" when the market could be about to selloff or increase in volatility.

The indicator shades the entire chart either Green for Risk-On mode or shades it Red for Risk-Off mode for an easy visual reference.

Check out this chart below showing it would have alerted us on the 25th of February 2020 of upcoming volatility as the market moved into Risk-Off mode and stayed there until the 24th of April letting us know it was safe to become bullish again when it flicked back over to Risk-On mode allowing us to avoid or prepare for the nasty 33% selloff that happened in Risk-Off mode.
