Are the tesla service centers franchised?
No. Not yet.
Are the tesla service centers franchised?
nope, same shit, both guilty of deceptively shitty advertising. At least Porsche is not litigious about it. They also have a history of building an iconic 911 turbo which at least has a history that would permit it carrying the distinction from lesser models.
What's next, chastise Microsoft for skipping Windows 9?
There's nothing deceptive about calling a Tesla Supercharger a Supercharger. It actually charges a lot faster than any other charger. Besides, no one thinks the charger contains an ICE so there's no possible way to confuse people. Porsche calling an EV "Turbo" would be like Mercedes slapping the V12 logo on every future S600 regardless of whether whatever is under hood has cylinders or not. Although, a while ago the model numbers of Mercedes / BMWs stopped corresponding to engine displacement.
A supercharger is a forced induction device, of course it's deceptive. Besides, no one thinks an EV porsche contains an ICE engine in it, so so there's no possible way to confuse people with the term "turbo".
Totally different. The "Turbo" in the name has nothing to do with charge speed. At least a Tesla Supercharger actually is a charger. Nothing on that Porsche EV has a turbo. Porsche has further abused the name "Turbo" by distinguishing "Turbo" 911s from non-"Turbo" 911s even though all 911s now have turbos. It's all just marketing B/S that should insult the intelligence of their customers, at least the ones that are car enthusiasts.
