$103,000? Tesla's are cheaper than that and have their own solar panel on the top. But hey if driving less than 30 minutes a day suits your lifestyle, then go for it. Because that will be your daily limit, 30 minutes of power a day. And I will be laughing when I see your nice fancy Porsche stuck on the side of the road because, "I ran out of power man." *Shakes head* Should have been driving a Tesla....

$100k for 3.8 sec. The performance Model 3 Tesla beats that for around half the price. Better range and better looking too. Also, why does Porsche still brand their electric car with "Turbo" and "Overboost". They think their customers are too stupid to realize EVs don't have turbos?

Because 0.2 secs on a 0-60 run matter. Guess what, a comparably priced camaro or corvette will run the same numbers, and just like the Porsche they will do it over and over again, not be limited after 4 runs. None of them die off after 100 mph either & you don't have to live in a Cavalier level interior.

And no, the 3 is not better looking and yes, Tesla fanboys are stupid enough to think Tesla has "superchargers". At least Porsche didn't have to fool them with marketing w/their 800V system which tops off the car in 25 mins vs tesla's "supercharger" of 1 hr.

In the latest of those interviews, Stefan Weckbach, Head of Battery-Electric Vehicles at Porsche, was asked about the fact that Tesla can achieve an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds.

He responded:

“But only twice – the third attempt will fail. The system is throttled. Porsche drivers won’t need to worry about anything like that happening. The Mission E will offer reproducible performance and a top speed which can be maintained for long periods. And that’s not all. The longitudinal and lateral dynamics of the Mission E will be typical of a Porsche and represent a real treat for any driver.”
