71 percent of Americans disapprove of the GOP's handling of debt ceiling fight

Those are quite dismal numbers. At what aproval rate do you think people will overthrow the government? Or as long as the cable company is in business no such thing will happen?

Look no further than the CBS poll itself - look on the last page. They interviewed significantly more self-described Dems than Republicans. 193 Repubs versus 282 Dems. The other big error skew in the poll is that a random pool of adults were surveyed - more precise and higher quality polling will use only registered voters or 'likely' voters. Given the fact that many adults in the US do not choose to vote or are not even registered, this is a significant skew.
