$700 Goog

keep in mind that goog is still well above the 600's

this stock is down, but certainly not out.

it had a huge run. Everyday it seemed goog was going up 10-20 dollars. When the nasdaq fell 2% last week goog only lost 2 dollars. Letting some of the air out I guess.
 
When the futures start turning around, load the boat on GOOG. Trust me, you will make a crap load of cash! Broad based indices are being hammered but that doesn't change Google's solid fundamentals. Just buy on the dips!

The markets in a death spiral... not a pretty sight... nothing specific to google... people are shooting first and asking questions later.

Nvidia's profit doubled on earnings and it's getting destroyed so badly you would think they're writing subprime loans.

How about RIMM? Down 25% in 3 days on high, steady volume. This does not look good. If we don't get a closing rally we could be in sheep dip tomorrow.
 
So I guess it makes sense when stock flies up a 100 points for not much of a reason, but that they won't do the same on the downside?

OK - <b>this just in.</b> I gave it some deep thought and I determined that Google, Inc. is a GREAT company and it absolutely CANNOT and will not go down any further.

OK forget about stops it is just volatile and it will go back up. After all that is what PPT is for, anybody with me on this?

OK now I'm sunk, so I'm in for the long-haul. Forget I'm down 25% - we have to bounce, right? And that half my capital is tied up until?

OK I'm going back to my day job. I tried trading - go figure how could I lose with GOOG? I just can't fathom my bad fortune!

OK I give up. I quit. You can't make money trading. Why am I the only one this happened to?

Stopped out of my position last Thursday at $710 but filled at $708. Still made $24 on my core position (500 shares) so I'm not complaining. Staying on the sidelines until I see some clear direction. Ready to go long or short depending on technicals.
