Trendymohawk, I'd like to see this site relay professional info. Time is valuable and I'd rather not see your story in this forum. Use the "rants and raves" section on Craigslist if you wish to relay this type of info.
Make spreads (calendar and vertical) with options to benefit from special events (results, announcement etc...)
For instance, if a very volatile stock is expected to report earning after market , if its implied vol on the front month is twice the next month vol, you should watch how the stock tends to react in the past around result and if nothing nasty has ever happened sell the front month and buy the the other one.
Would you elaborate on your recommendation below -
"just play the pivot/fibo with past statistics telling which point will be be rather a reversal or a breakout. Mix these pivots with 5 minutes graph with 60 moving average. "
Masterful work by TrendyMohawk. As readers, we anticipated the tired old cliche's that many like to use around here and instead we were jettisoned into a very graphic, almost vulgar description of a bizarre South American coming of age ritual, written in broken English about someplace endemic to the Atlanta area. Having read this post twice, I lost all interest in the original topic of the thread. Perhaps, the random off topic post will make a comeback in 2006. Good day.
Excellent thread keep up the good work. I really like the bits in french because people have been considerate enough to only use the few french words I know-except for that one phrase that I use at 2am in Montreal.
