Ok... i'll try again.
Shoeshine and I are discussing creationism/intelligent design.
When backed into a corner, many theists start attacking evolution,
or try to switch the subject to evolution.
This is nothing more than a diversion.
I have asked, for the sake of discussion, that
all the atheists hypothetically REJECT evolution
to prevent the theists from switching the subject.
In other words, I do not wish to discuss
evolution with your here until the creation argument is completed.
Or, I will be happy to discuss evolution on another
new thread, but I do not want to muddy the discussion
waters by spawning off a second debate in this thread.
I want to stay focused on the intelligent design argument. (Or lack thereof
)

This can really get interesting, nobody wants to dig enough to find out what is up but it gets interesting nonetheless. There is zero evidence of anything changing to another species, pretty muchly zero, no interim species fossils, no laboratory experiments where this has occurred, nothing. They don't emphasize this in school. There is lots of other stuff like dinosaur skeletons that are not fossilized, stalagtites and mites that form in a few years that the "scientists" say would take millions of years, the fact that natural gas is compressed by rock that can only hold the pressure for 20,000 years maximum, but "science" says it has been down there for hundreds of millions of years, the moons of other planets that are still cooling off that "science" says have to have atomic fires going on inside them, with zero proof BTW, the supposed existence of the "Ort Cloud", treated as fact in all the textbooks whereas nobody, including Ort himself has ever seen it, Panangea, the supposed first continent that has Africa expanded by 40% in area and Central America completely left out and wherein you have to spin some of the continents one way and the other continents the other way to get them to come together, the complete conjectural analysis of the size of the universe, based on a couple of assumptions that are never questioned, the circular reasoning "we calibrate the geologic column by the strata, and we calibrate the strata by the geologic column", whereas in fact there is no calibration of either possible, and radiologic readings that don't agree with current thought being thrown out to boot.
The list of reasons why I laugh at "science" is a lot longer than the above, that is just what I can come up with off the top of my head. The venue for arguing against "science" is completley owned by publicly funded universities, no chance of any real argument going on at all in other words, just more blah, blah, blah coming from those jokers starting with indoctrination in grammar school.
