Longshot: "what would you think of *me* if i could have prevented 9/11 but i chose not to act?"
A perfectly valid question.
Let's expand this a little.
Suppose longshot was on one of the planes that
got hijacked.
Let's make it the 2nd plane.
The people realize what is going to happen and rush
the cockpit. They take out all the terrorists but one.
One terrorist is left standing, but he pulls a gun and holds
the people back.
Unknown to the terrorist, longshot is standing behind him
with access to a a fire extinguisher that he can bash the
terrorist over the head with.
He reaches for the fire extinguisher, raises it above his head,
and at the last moment, decides...NAAAAAH... I dont want
to get involved.. and instead jumps out the airplane
and throws his parachute.
The plane smashes into the building killing everyone
on board and thousands in the building.
Is longshot negligent?
What if you dont KNOW what longshots infamous
"frame of reference" is? Is he not negligent now?
If god was in the same position, and ALSO decides
to leave, is he negligent?
The answers here are so incredibly obvious to any
reasonable person. But somehow im sure Doubter
will come up with some creative excuse as to why
longshot *IS* negligent and god is NOT negligent
