More than anything, the group is making a valid point, that the US manipulates its currency to align with its internal economic dynamics. As the saying goes, when the US sneezes everybody gets sick, and they want that to change. I'm not an economist and don't grasp the complexity of what's at hand, but historically, the move away from the gold standard to the US dollar seemed to make sense. The follow up expectation would have been that the dollar remains a neutral currency, something that clearly couldn't be for political and economic reasons.

But governments could take example on BTC to create a universal currency accessible only to governments (or their representatives), whereas that universal currency would be valued against national currencies based on objective criteria? BRIC is just another version of China's One Belt One Road initiative, nothing more. Everyone is blaming China's One Belt One Road initiative for taking advantage of vulnerable countries in order to achieve its geopolitical ambition so China's changed its strategy. Instead of it going to other countries to build a physical trading network, it makes other countries come to them to build a virtual trading partnership. With its economic power aka $$$ or I should say RMB RMB RMB and Russia's military might, it's confident that countries would go to them and it's not wrong.
