6 month mission to consistant profitability

the thread is 22 days old. I will narrow the focus My goal is to be consistently profitable for 6 months with this account and then up the ante to 10 contracts after that period of time.

5 losers today. bad day. fought the trend all day on the es for some dumb reason, squeeeezed with the rest of em !!!
Got shaken out before a big move downward on the 6e. I feel my stops might be a little too tight sometimes. Maybe I'll start playing the YM,NQ, and 6B more so I can have a little more breathing room and still stay within my risk limits.
Maybe trade the NQ on sim for a week or two first since I've never traded it.
- 700 today. account total 15% in the green since inception.
700 is a pretty big drawdown but I am only risking 2% or less on each trade . 5 losers in a row sucks!! Should I be using 1% risk per trade instead ... Opinions?

You should probably risk as liittle as you can while you are working on your "demons". Trade small as you can. And don't add other instruments because of one bad day.
Keep going . . . 5 losers in a row should have been expected and part of your plan.
