I'm not sure how 170k is "strong job creation" for the month. According to the Labor Department, the economy has to create 150k jobs each month just to keep up with new people entering the workforce..
My opinion that the implicit social contract, one man one job, is gonna have to change (clearly it is already) by necessity. Automation, productivity gains, offshoring, we simply do not need as many people working to produce X level of life's necessities.
