I still think Obama has one more trick up his sleeve to solidify his position in front of Carter as the worst president ever, wouldnt be surprised if before Obama leaves office a year from now, he manages to send us into massive stagflation just before he gets his ass thrown out on the street.
No,Obama is not worse
Obama would be worse if he came into office with a clean slate /balanced budget and then turned that balanced budget into trillion dollar deficits like Bush did
Unlike Bush who came into office with a budget surplus,Obama came into office with a trillion dollar deficit,2 wars,expanded medicaid to pay for,expanded government agencies to pay for(Homeland security etc) and less revenue from reduced tax rates .
Most of Obamas deficit and debt is from paying for Bushs shit.He takes some blame for that for not ending these wars,allowing the Bush tax cuts to continue etc but he does take as much blame as the guy who came into office with a buget surplus and left it with 2 wars,tax cuts,worst economy in over 50 years,trillion dollar deficit,more medicare to pay for etc
But the GOP doesn't have their power base in play for 2012 like the Dems do...
1} Obama is running, not Bush.
2} 23 Senate Dem seats in play versus 11 Repub seats.
3} Obama is running far behind Romney is the only states that are going to matter: Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. If Obama loses just one of those states, he's done. Can't win.
Look at the polling in the swing states that Obama MUST win.
