market coming off, so averaging in again - bought some gold stocks on dip. I was too greedy to add hedge 2 weeks ago. I dont think market will go down much further.

for all super geared property investors out there - new tool in your property toolbox is warranted - charcoal burner. Cheap and effective in line with a modest lifestyle. Useful when loan sharks start circling. Asians use it a lot lately.
 
In AU bond market predicts 6 interest rate falls in 7 months, down from 4.5% to 3%. This is reflected in AUD rate which in 0.97 usd. Which is way too high. My guess, anticipation of property downturn, probably job lossess in banks coming, etc.

If it is true that AU banks borrow 40% then AUD exchange rate matters big time. If rate falls 20%, then this impacts bottom line of the banks. Borrowing in foreign ccy is also FX transaction as CHF & JPY borrowers found out. As banks have privileged position, AU govt will be forced to keep AUD strong.

If rates really fall as predicted by bond market then this should push AUD down.

Banks promising that rate cuts will not be passed on borrowers. Maybe thats how they want to get missing profits.

Where is the trade here ?
 
started preparing for euraudv sell. Forces of darkness showed their hand by upgrading AU. Opposite for EU. Looking for target 1.0000. I have budget for the trade. Entered first one with stops. 5 losses will convince me I am wrong. Expect swift move - when it happens - so adding to winning position is on.

Guys that are squeezing encouraged by black friday calculated that push ino the end of year will overcome negativity.

Should make it for a great year, if so.

In return I promise will upgrade from $9 wine to $30- 50 wine for the whole year !

not much of shorterm pl to show for that drop.

changing in my system this :

will enter at market on signal full size. Nice when you get a bargain and catch near low, but too often markets run away without me. Stat speaks for itself. Will have larger stop and less target left but will be in when my SMA crosses. Just in case if anyone large following my orders.

noticed that increases in property prices are inversly collerated to strength of economy. Shitiest places have largest increases and vice versa.
