I trade with global and the answer is yes, yes and yes...why not?
 
i agree, global is a good firm.

however, i wish they would bring back the transactional Xtrader.

that was a great feature, no longer available via them...

Of course I am not joking. Been trading with $300-$500 margin for years without even one margin call. It's called profitable systems with hard stops.
 
Big leverage for a Greenhorn trader cutting his teeth is a certain death......if you have to advertise your margin and sell that than you are already dealing with undercapitalized traders and this is mistake number 2.

Big Leverage and small accounts is 100% the best way to go back to that 9-5 job.

Just send me a check now for that 2K to 10K account that you want to fund an account with and keep your corp job as you are doomed to loose it all.

Now if you have a few years experience and are disciplined on your stops and have a game plan to trade than why would you pay that much to these jokers...... I have never paid more than 15 to 35 cents over exchange fees for the last three years. Go direct to the FCM.... IB guys offer nothing but extra costs.....I was an IB for 4 years.. bad business model.

$9.96 a turn is insane no matter what the margin is. I suppose they let you open an account with only $300 too? Crazy.
 
This is untrue with our firm,,, for example, you trade heavy volume using X Trader, the cost is $0.35 per side plus exchange fees with the ym market fees are $1.84 total round turn $2.54 no other fees... not with our firm......
 
If you look for low commissions, look at advantage futures:
5000 - 10000 contracts/month per side 0.20
10.000-20.000 0.05 $
over 20.000 0.04 $
