Hi,

I started trading the DAX again, this week. I never heared of XDAX though. I googled it and it seems to be an ETF - not a future contract - is that corect?
I could'nt find a chart, though ... What is the yahoo symbol for it?

Thanks and good luck !

I think this is the yahoo chart
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=^GDAXI&d=b

But what I trade might be slighty different because it is a CFD...here's the details on it:

http://marketindex.rbs.com/uk/TradableMarketsEquityIndices.aspx

The marketindex X-DAX is the Deutsche Boerse X-DAX Index, traded on marketindex. The X-DAX is tracking the DAX® (German Stock Index) calculated on the basis of the DAX-Futures contract traded on EUREX. The German Stock Index is a total rate of return index of 30 selected German blue chip stocks traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The DAX® was developed with a base level of 1000 on 31st December, 1987. The underlying stock prices for the DAX® Index are from XETRA.

i want to now see this piece of shit break through the 38.62 support, and so form a pendant formation on all timeframe charts,
and then il be loking to buy near 37.26

Well looks like oil is going to finish the week as boring as how it started. It looks like a normal range bound session despite the downward move in pre-market trading.

My worst week for ages down c £1000 despite doing very little.

I think this will also be the worst week for my CL based system when I back test it at the weekend since I started recording the latest version in late October.

Come back volatility, all is forgiven.

Had a small +6 scalp today, it would have been more but I was packing up work and closed the trade after letting it run for 30 minutes- it then spiked immediately after by the looks of it, after doing pretty much nothing at all while I was in it!

Profit for the week 68 points- below my target of 100 but I'm not complaining. Another 164 points and the stake goes up to £3 a point.

I'll post my blotter for the week in the next couple of days.

guys any news on the stimulus plan?

The Republican Thugs who are less than 40% of the country, are having their talk show hosts incite a strident and vocal minority to work the phones to protest that the stimulus plan does too much for laid off workers and too little to make the rich richer.

finally being in cash paid off with crude , patiently waiting in cash with no positions when market is not clear.

took 1.5k in 2 trades while shoring and closing from 41.80 and down ...
new short opened at 40.89
