What size spread do you have though??
Cos to be able to clear your spread as well as get enough ticks profit after that to have made the risk worthwhile it sounds very very tough... :confused:

I only trade markets with a decent spread. For example XDAX, Crude, emini futures and eur/usd and gbp/usd. spreads for these markets vary from 1 tick to 4 ticks which is good enough for me to trade in.

I do trade other markets with wider spreads for either swing trades or if there is enough momemtum.

Where on earth do you get spreadbetting crude oil with a 4ticks spread??! :eek: :confused: :eek:

Hi,

I started trading the DAX again, this week. I never heared of XDAX though. I googled it and it seems to be an ETF - not a future contract - is that corect?
I could'nt find a chart, though ... What is the yahoo symbol for it?

This market is seriously killing me out of just sheer horrible bordem!! :eek: :( :(


A whole week gone by, so much news come out, an dyet we had bascially a $2 range max all week, and at such a slow sideways angle that theres just not been 1 decent trade opportunity all week!! :(
 
I couldn't sleep so pulled up IB and went long 1 CL @ 40.45 just right now.

I am tired of being on the sidelines. I dont care if i lose money, i just want to be back in the action.
