Thats me out of oil for now. This price level is too choppy. Will wait for it to move to a new S/R level before reentering.

One of the worst consecutive runs ever recorded using this system.

Down £850 for the day.

Thanks - the only positive is I followed my system and did not get emotional; so took the losses quite well.

I was thinking of doubling my position size starting today - glad I didn't!

Thats the way,, i lost what i gained when i started following my emotions and chasing losses... now i follow my system , so emotions are out...
I got screwd this morning trying to double up after a drawdown, but it still went down so closed for a loss... NEVER DOUBLE UP..

Hello there mate I'm a new trader and have little experience at trading, I was wondering what are the key elements of your system? Do you think u could give me any pointers. I would be very grateful
Thanks
Alex

I have also been looking again at becoming a firefighter (as i had been planning on ether joining the spanish police or becoming a firefighter since i was 8years old)

Only started trading in any form by total accident just over 1year ago,
and started it as fulltime career just over 6months ago.

The only thing that is stopping me being a firefighter is that they have very very technical restrictions about eyesight without contact lenses.

However their website is extremely unclear about it, and doesnt say if you can wear lenses while doing the job, but have to still have a certain level of eyesight normally.

Or if they dont allow you to wear lenses at all, and so need your eyesight to be at a certain level so you can do the job without them.

(Theres no fuking way i could do the job without my lenses, dont even feel comfortable walking around my flat without them or my glasses).

But if i could become a fire fighter, maybe even partime so have lower pay so still be able to get rent covered from government and work less days that would be even better! hehe

Alcohol burns, spanish... An alcohol container like you may consider it
before applying to to the firefighters...

But, for real, you have better chance of succeeding in trading with such a job on the side.

Hi,
Like all other traders would say, you need to use your own style and see what works for you....

Start with afew indicators if thats what you like and see how price reacts to them,, if you dont like anything , delete it.

I use both a trend and range system developed over the years but will not work for another person as i do tend to look at price action 90% of the time. Watch the trend and support and resistence levels.

Best is to look at afew systems and pick what you like and use it, will take time but you will get the feel for it.

Hope that helps.

we need to break and close above 4170 for resumption of bullish trend....will post chart if we break that barrier

this is the breakout i was talking about
just look at the red dotted line(long term channel resistance)
ignore other lines as they are on shorter time frames and wont make sense on 60 min
