And so now im fedup of working too hard for nothing.
Its just not worth it.

Like i said the average newbie lasts between six and twelve months.

Atleast you quit before going into debt (i hope).

lol

Im not gna get into an arguement or debate about who has a harder financial life and i sunder more stress though sorry. :)

You have a much easier life than you actually appreciate.

How would you handle things if you had a wife and kid/s to support as well as a mortgage?

The fact is that you have options, ie: regarding housing benefits etc and you only rent an apartment so you can walk away without any problems.

You also have youth on your side which above all else is a big plus point.

Time to stop whinging...Are you sure your not French?

Im not ''quitting trading'' btw....
Soz if ive somehow given the wrong impression.

Ive got just under £4k, down just over £5k for the month.

I could use that to try rebuilding my capital again and keeping trading with my own account,
but i just no longer an interested in taking on all that stress to just 'live'. :)

So im now just going to keep applying for prop firms (if i dont get job at futex),
so i can then start being able to trade properly without constant fear, will be able to use as tight stoploss as i want to lock in profits,
and will be able to have decent size capital to trade with. :)

So il still be trading, just wont be risking the little money i have any longer.

LOL.

You're right though. My dad supported me, my brothers, my sister and my mum with trading and you could see it was terribly stressful at times. Just having to support myself is alot easier :)
I remember one day he lost £35,000, back when he was trading the DOW at £100 per point! He made as much on his good days though :)

If you are so responsible why dont find paying work instead of scrounging off the state, or instead of scamming people on ebay. My guess is you are too lazy to do that.

This is an interesting thread.

It makes me think to the old poker adage, scared money loses.

If one plays the market with money that is not absolutely essential to them, they will have less emotional volatility, and greater success.

Trading is very hard, and one must have all the odds in one's favor.

Good luck in all of your trading.

PS. I get the feeling some of the hostility is directed at me about not posting live trades, lol. I have even posted transation statements to prove im not a 'bullshitter' lol. I dont post my trades because 1) I am a scalper and use very tight stops now, and by the time id have written my trade on a bulletin board id miss my trade, lol! and 2) I now get trade ideas from my new trading friend and he wouldn't want me posting them all over the place.

People can believe what they want. I think its just sour grapes, personally. If they cant make money and just got lucky for a while they jump on the defensive. People should just worry about their own trading, lol.

Right. Good luck everyone.

Blackjack, you ought to start a thread discussing your scalping technique. I primarily scalp also, and a thread devoted to short -term scalpers would be an interestiing read.

Best Wishes to all,

lol

Nah, ive done enough stressful work everyday since June!

Time for a change, and for me to be able to have a nice easy stress free life for abit!! :D  :p

Theres no point in me getting some shitty job in a supermarket (although with the recession everywhere would only be firing not hiring anyways),
but there would be no point getting some shit job paying shit crap money,
when i already know and have proved that i can consistently make over £1000 per day (what would be supermarket monthly pay), just as long as i have £9k capital+, and preferably money that i could afford to lose. :)

So thats exactly what im gna do...

Enjoy the benefit that im now legally and morally entitled to,
so i can keep living without aving to worry if il be living in my flat on on the streets next month,
and use this time to apply for jobs in trading firms. :)
