Wtf is going on in oil???!!!


Everyone out there was selling this down relentlessly for the last 2days so hard even when dow and other energy was getting strong an dollar was getting weaker!!!


yet now when we actually get extremelt bearish news of 6million build in oil the market starts rising!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

IMO the news were actually bullish

Reduction in stocks of heating oil/distillates/gasoline took place. Demand for gasoline and other products also increased week on week.

There was only a small buildup of 0.3mn barrels on cushing

I know quite a few people were very bullish on oil, and so have probably taken quite big losses...,
and even though posting them here wont get your money reversed back you,
it honestly does help get a little bit of the stress and upset off your back.

Bit of a toughy for me today,
Broke-even on oil and afew up on snp,,, being extra careful as i dont want to go into negative...

What I can not understand is that nearly all factors are bullish at the moment. Equities all over the world are up. Euro is up. And above all oil demand is up!!!

We saw a demand increase in nearly every oil product week over week. A comparison on 4 week average of current week with last year also shows only slightly weakers results (which do not warrant in any case a drop from 147.27 to current levels).

Moreover bullish comments from OPEC members are also coming in. Fed rate cut is also expected today. With all these bullish factors its hard to understand why the market isnt moving now. Whats even stranger is that if the market was bearish, big players would have used the 6 mn barrel buildup as excuse to take the market below $40 but they havnt.

All this points to one thing. Either the market will rally today or tomorrow or be prepared to see oil at $20

Posted my screenshots trades earlier, and pretty much stopped since. a Grand a day keeps the doctor away.

I am not bullish on oil.

The range is too thin for any trades for me today. My system does not work in such a shallow range.
