In my country(and time zone) USA markets open at 7:00pm and end at 12:30am. I sleep around 2:00am(its normal for me though and even in my country people sleep around 11:00pm so its not too late).

I start trading around 1:00pm in the noon(well not me exactly since I am at my job but my father starts and I advise him via phone). I come back around 5:30pm and then look for oppurtunities. Thus I have ample time to read news and get a grip of the market before it opens
 
actually i wouldnt buy there now, since its bounced at 41.16,
and theres no enough potential bounce of my liking after i clear the spread on both sides.



And this market doenst look like it wants to stay up,
especially with teh dow dropping 100points in last 45mins

Yeah thats why I can never find a good entry around this hour. Best time for me to trade is 1 hour before Nymex open up to 1 after open. Activity just dies down after that and the market goes into a boring tight range until close time.
 
its taht dollar/yen expiry that i mentioned that has caused this.


eur/usd n gbp/usd were up 50pips 45misn agao.


now they are both donw over 150pips, so dollar alot stronger n gna lower oil.

it went down to where it crosses teh line on my chart 40.80, so i could have gotten my after spread fill of .86

But then it bounced up 60ticks in under 2seconds!!! :eek: :mad:
