5% - 10% profit per day trading

Last week was tough to trade, I had 3 losers from 5 trades.

This week is looking a little better, I went long at $42.64 earlier it tried to take $43 failed and I got out for +.12

Not huge lol but not a loss
 
how much you up for the day mate??

cos i was worried that you may have gone long near the top of that spike earlier hoping for a breakout...


Ive counted and im up £384 for the day. :)

(This is the lowest amount ive made on a day where i ended in profit for about 3months now,
but im still happy to just have been able to get out alive) lol



i know apart from my 2nd (middle trade) the other 2 were quite poor trades, but form tomorrow im not gna rush into any trades, so i cant take all my trades from near the top of the reversal,
and am going to try holding trades slightly longer.


*Cos ive just heard through ransquawk that oil is now at 40.62!! :eek: :eek: :( :(


and while i didnt mind much missing that £400 extra, missing nearly £900 by a few mins, after holding for so many hours is starting to hurt and demoralise. :(

And its still good that you got those 12ticks, since now some sap out there is 12ticks less well off!! :p :cool:

I am currently using Strategyrunner. This ninjatrader is a live demo. I use it for charts and the ability to quickly take images and send them.
I like the software and probably I would soon get one or shift to a broker which uses ninjatrader
 
I wasn't aware of that.
