I see a downward channel on the hourly chart and there is excess oil supply in the market, so there is bearish pressure on oil. But the problem is that everyone (even Goldman Sachs :D ) is now expecting oil to drop soon. Usually, by the time everyone starts creaming "crash is coming", the crash has already completed its course.

FYI I didn't trade today. I got up early this morning and saw the volume was dead in the London session and just went back to sleep and ended up oversleeping :D

well played.. :p

wish id joined you.

I am starting to get envious of you full timers! Come the summer I'm going to think about doing it.

I took last Wednesday off sick from work and to be honest I was pretty bored. I'm not sure I could stand sitting in my room all day.

LOL!!! :D

Aloha mate, how your trading been going??

this oil is pissing me off now as thres never a decent sell entry cos the stupid chinense steal them all,
but the march contract is way too high to buy and apart fom opec febuary meeting no bullish spike factors. :(

Im gna try doing abit of trend chasing by just trailing the sell moves down at £1 per tick, entry with 2oticks stoploss cos il use daily contract,
will wait till its in a clear down move, and then il just trail it donw and move stoploss to lock in profit untill its time to buy for the day at £6.

I know what you mean. Last time I had a whole day off trading, I made about 2-3k in the morning and gave at least half of it back in the afternoon when I should have just gone out and spent it!

I actually lost about £400 today, but its no big deal. I made over 6k last week and have been easily hitting my weekly targets and then some! As long as im up by a few thousand pounds each week im happy enough.
