i dont like the idea of paying tax though.. lol

even if it cost me less overall, its more a moralistic thing

That explains it :D

Yeah taxes can eat up about 35% of your profits here in US.

I wonder if I can do spread betting as well?

Quote from spanish89:

basically when i do £8 sell il make £8s profit per every tick in my favour, lose £8 for every tick lost.

Il pay £106 comission cost, but after that every $1 move is worth £694 to me.

If i increase to £12 every $1 movement will be worth over £1,000 to me.

pay £106 comission cost???
holy cow that is huuuuuuuuuuuuge cost , my stomach hurts looking at these fees

with interactive brokers in US we pay $2.75 per oil contract that is with oil price move of 1 cent you cover cost with profit
1 cent move => $10 .

why in the world that huge fee cost , are you UK based? can't you do Interactive brokers ( IB) they are high rated borker in US ( financially stable ) I think they are available in for UK customers also ..

but IB needs $10 k minimum to open the account , here is the idea to work around it.
If you can borrow money from friends and open account with $10k then withdraw and pay back to them . with little money you can still continue with IB only at account open time you need 10k

as a fellow trader I can not see somebody paying $100 etc.. fees.
hope this helps

I have a hunch the market will sell into the inventory numbers, so I am lowering my exit to 46.25 and let it stay there.

All the charts look toppy and we have gone straight up from 35 without any pull backs. I think the market will use inventory data as justification to sell off a few bucks.

I won't be able to monitor this trade for most of the day though since I am about to take a shower and leave. I think I'll be able to check up on my position during lunch break but I am not sure. Worst comes to worst, it will hit my stop and I lose -$250 which isn't bad, or I can close it after hours if its still open then.

See you guys later!

I took £65 out at 47.46

Im extremely angry and upset now as if we get down to .26 my loss yesterday of £1,900 will ahve been for nothing!! :( :(
