Arrrgh why wont the fucking dow just crash!!!!


Yesterday i took a £900+ loss on oil with a £6 long from 57.24!!

if id left that on with my 59.26 target id have now been still over the 10k level!!


If id not taken a loss on that long from earlier id have been up nearly £600!!
so broken even for the day!!

If id just not taken a loss on that inevntory long at £4 tick id have not lost any money today and been up £400!!!


Instead im down £610 for the day and have an open loss of £513 with my sell on oil now from this spike!!!!!!!

I said you should have taken a day off mate - you are going to blow your account if you are not careful.
 
Gotta love the skill when you win and hate the bad luck when you lose.

Can't have it both ways - you are simply showing your ignorance when it come to trading.

Don't really like to see guys blow up but you are simply asking for it.

Make 'em pretty.
 
K i just pulled my down short off the market for £172 profit.

I sold at 8518, £2 point, 40points stoploss, as that was a huge resistance level.

Had set target level at 8388, but took it off at 8432, since even though i knew it was extremely likely i could have taken the £80 more,
im still holding the £8 sell on oil so its basically the same markey, and so i wanted to lower my exposure.

No i dont justs blame my few losses on badluck.

A few weeks ago when i had a few losses i did get very pissed at myself as i knew it was my fault for being greedy and impatient.

So i do take responsibility when ive just fucked up.



But over the last 3weeks, especially this week, ive stuck to my style of range traidng, but just hd badluck that the market didnt want to range, just wanted to slide all day.

And yesterday and today i had been trying to buildup a long for quite a while, had been saying on here that 59.26 would be hit, even yesterday at $56 i was saying 59.26.


I caved in to my style today by getting cautious and using a tight stoplosses /taking losses on longs even when i felt we were near the low of the spike, and so ive payed the price for that.


Im now on just under £2,000 profit for the month, so not happy, but thats still not a bad salary, especially when its all non-taxable!

There is such thing as luck mate.

No matter how great a trader you are, how skilled, how hard you work, you CANNOT escape having badluck hits.

When you are in a big sell, cash out at strong support where the market stallls,
then suddenly marlet crashes 400ticks down in 15seconds!!


when you have the rythm of the market range correct, but are out by an hour, so keep getting fucked.

wow...busy here tonight. Cant be bothered to read back all the posts though!!

Had a WICKED day today. Bought the dow again and am well over £1k profit today!!! :)

Taking tomorrow off and maybe monday. Gonna have a crazy weekend and spend some bucks.

Great stuff porph! You're making professional footballer type money, lol!
