I had had to go out, left a £2 sell order from 88.86, never though it would be hit as oil was under 86.78 at the time, but glad i managed to get in there atleast. :)

Now time to find out what caused that spike.

I knew it was gna come today though, i did try and warn people through here.. lol ;)

I bought halifax a £7 pepr point at 96p this morning (£259 profit from that + it was the 1 n only gainer in whole ftse!!)

Covered everything this morning when my account flew above £5k! Wacked on a fresh short on that spike. Making a few more hundred so far....

And yea my short £2 tick order (that i set when oil was in mid 86s) got filled while i was out at $88.86.. :)


I can afford to put my s/l above 114 for that to be ridiculously safe,
but now its just a case of letting the dust on this settle and seeing how priced in this is now / combined with what opec saying, and seeing how the inventory numbers play out.


The dollar could also weaken now which is worrying me, so i wouldnt add any more sells till we encountred extremely strong resistance at $94.68, and started to fall.

It fell as low as 93 in overnight.


My dad also sked me to buy £500 worth of shares for him too.

I told him let me buy you it £10 tick, stoploss at 45 (so £500 risk), but he wnated shares.


Dunno where the crappy halifax brokers fille dit though if he even got filled. il check in min.


Thats why i would never ever use a brokerage firm to trade, on use sb firm where i handle all the execution myself.
 
I think we can get a top at 90.68 now, buyers will cash in so fall will come, and as reaction shock evaporates worry will slowly but will be there steadily creeping in to if this will be enough.

Now its upt dolalr to strengthen + nice over supply
