not traded oil today, but posted some screenshots of my SPX trading from today. Maybe you missed them.

Shorted the close on Friday and took 250 pips early this morning.
Then scalped another 60 pips or so, so just over 300 pips today. Stakes varying from £2 per point to £5 per point.

Been very on/off and not only that but when in, its been slow.

Crazy day today. I'm down over a grand but that's alright, got to be expected at times the way im trading :D

Was nearly 3 grand down at one point!

Balance is 9400 or so.
 
Anyone cashed in on this mornings fall from 93???

Im pissed of at myself now because i said i wanted a sell form 93, but cos i was awake till 6.30am, i didnt get u till just now, 1pm! :eek: :mad: :mad: :mad:


I really dont like selling at the moment though. :(


But i need to start earning again, cos i need minimum £1,100 per month, and im only up £455 so far.
 
you need to be more disciplined if this is your 'career'. Doesnt seem like you take it very seriously considering you need to make money to survive? :confused:

Its not hard to set an alarm for 7am.
 
I did, set it for 6.50, but im not good in the mornings. :(

But at the moment oil is just basically untradeable and unsellable in my view.. :(

Itd just be a gamble to continue to sell now, but buying just inst an option either. :(


So its a nightmare trying to earn money out of this
 
GRRRRR FUCKING HELL!!!!!!!!!

I JUST SOLD AT 92.12,

CLOSED UP AT BARELY 91.94 (NOT INC 12 SPREAD COST)

AND NOW AS SOON AS I CLOSE UT OIL DECIDED TO GET SOME MOVEMENT BACK IN AND CRASHES TO 91.35!!!!!!

Im just having a very very sloppy day..

My chart and sb firm are diffeent, and the chart froze up just as i was going for a scalp id been waiting ofr, so i got in too low then as a chaser trade and got left holding a loss...

So ive only taken 50ticks so far, which is disgraceful. :(


But ive got 2 trades open, 1 from 91.28 other from 92.32,
and got target level of 88.66, although i know il cash in way way before that to lock in profit. lol
 
That's why it may be better to have a look at another sb firm due to tradindex's unusable charts.

With regards to locking in profit, do you just cash in or set a stop and see how it goes?
