What what sorta spreads you getting mate??


On tex they good cos they give slightly higer spreads than others, but they never ever increase.

They still keeping 5points spread on dow. :)



And fuk me look at that down rise, nearly 9%!!!
 
Do any successful day traders here have daily account level profit targets?

Ie: you have a 50k account size at 9:30am. If your realized and unrealized PnL hits some figure, like 5k, you close all open positions and finish for the day?

Clearly not an option for swing traders - just those daytraders who end flat at the end of each day.

Having something like this may prevent whipsaws of you account in markets like this, however it can put limits on your profit potential.

For example, I was Way, WAAAAy up today on MS, then got whipsawed the rest of the day. With a daily PnL account exit, I would have had my best day ever.

The one that is bugging me is the spx is currently 20 tick spread!!! usually 5!
Amazing that ive made so much money from it today considering that ridiculous spread, lol.

ALoha mate, yeah i normal do do that, and it does work, no matter what anyone else says about 'making the most out of a good day'.

Ive been getting greedy this week, and thats why im barely up a few hundred now, compared to what i was upto previously. :(


I trade with just over £8,000 capital, and have a daily target of £300 (150ticks).


And so normally when i get to that i just take the day off, and restart the next day.


No stress for the whole day then after that. :)

except cos i dont trade dow it was a mental target for dwo, and was expected to mirror in oil!!1 :mad: :mad:


Guess i will have to wait for overnight to see if it does mirror

Seriously well doen mate!! :)

Ive just counted and if we can get oil upto 67.86, il be taking £1,790 profit!! :D :p
