In your early posts, it was clear that you were earning more than your capabilities merited. From your tone, it seemed like even you knew that much.

Your recent posts have shown that you are definitely in over your head. And as emotional as your replies are, there is no way you are making your trading decisions with a clear mind.

You've at least gotta admit that if it was as easy to consistently make the money that you were early on, a LOT of people would be doing it. A WHOLE LOT. I mean, you dont think you're some kind of prodigy right? What is your edge over everybody else who is doing this, aside from a lucky month?


It is time to cash out. You'll be glad you did.

Yea i knew that earning £5,000 at £1 tick from £700 starting capital was way way wayyyyyyy above the consistently do-able.. :(

But 100tick+ per day in oil is extremely do-able. (As long as ou can avoid extreme bad luck)


I just gna refocus and restart this months earning from monday.

You dont have any information that the rest of the world doesnt have. Blind luck is what got you where you are now.

No-one has information that the rest of the world doesn't have mate.

The only people who have an advantage are the brokers, since they get all the orders in, so can see what the trend is before it hits the market.


That doesn't mean that people cannot trade from home anymore though. lol


Its just wishful thinking to try and think you can get 'an edge' above everyone else when trading.

All you can do is trade off the S&R levels that you can see, and hope that you dont get fucked for more than you profit.
 
not great trading on my part today. Were LOTS of pips on offer today. Been busy with my new PC aswell.
Currently up by about 100 pips though, so mustn't grumble...

How did you manage to make any money today mate?? :confused: :eek:

I stayed out today and gna stay out tomorrow too, back on monday though but not feeling too confdent since oil has now become so mixed. :( :(


When you look at the market in the morning how exactly do you identify what the trend will be for the day?? (apart from just using the basic S&R levels).


Because i basically scalp, but scalp like a swing trader.

E.X

I ONLY trade in 1direction (selling oil rallies since the 137s down to still only selling now), but i scalp in 20 t 80ticks per trade, dont hold longer because i need to lock in money each day.

But oil now is now longer tradeable for swing traders&me i dont feel... :(

I would like to look at trading something else maybe till oil next becomes tradeable, but im not sure what else i can trade that i could be hitting 100 t 300ticks per day as an average....?? :confused:

And i dont want to get out of touch with oil
 
Just took another 60 pips and that's me done until late tonight after I can do my homework.
Can post chart if anyone wants....

PS - I dont always make hundreds of points per day, but the market this last few weeks has suited me. I like volatility.

Hard to answer your question Spanish, because our trading styles are totally different. I am very risk adverse. I generally use fairly tight stops. I dont trade me long term bias. Just the price action - combined with my own system.

Aloha, i love volatility too, buts as long a sits all 1direction volatility, and so i can get on that side of the market like i used to be able to do with oil.


But how do you make so many pips, even when using such a tight stoploss??

Wheras yesterday i was using giant stoploss, and yet i still undid all the £750 id made since last week started.

Nah, all that basically happened was i got caught out trying to call the top of this latest oil move, took the loss back at 96.95,
and lost just over £800.

So basically all the money i had earnt so far this month.

So its just now me restarting this months earning again from now, but this latest oil moves are so sooo hard to trade
