4th largest shareholder of GME: Roaring Kitty

The Najarians wish they got the bump he does. Roaring Kitty is a lucky guy. People follow and believe in him. That’s on his followers, not him. I personally hope he makes a billion on this trade and it brings the stock to new ATH. The world is full of people making millions/billions while contributing no real value to society. The whole market has been propped up by over a decade of cheap money and wealth inequality with rich people looking for a place to park their money. Whole markets (such as crypto) that are essentially pyramid schemes have been created. It is what it is. I’m not going to get angry over something as transparent as what he’s doing.

I agree accept for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is going to replace gold as a store of value if it hasn't already.

So you believe Crypto is a ponzi while GME is not? Moreover, you believe what Roaring Kitty is doing is being "transparent" and not another pump-and-dump? You leave me totally speechless. Have a nice weekend.

At this point GME is infinitely less of a pyramid scheme. Crypto has no intrinsic value whatsoever. GME has $5B in cash. Roaring Kitty didn't commit a "pump and dump" by your own definition. What false statements did he make to boost the security? What misleading statements did he make to boost the security? What greatly exaggerated statement did he make to boost the security? He posted a meme and his position. He said absolutely nothing incriminating in his livestream.

OMG what intrinsic value does gold have? The only reason gold is valuable is because of scarcity. It's the exact same thing with bitcoin, except that there is actually a hard cap with bitcoin, and it is a lot more versatile, and easier to store and transfer. You could purchase, transfer, trade, cash out, and be driving around in a new Lambo in the time it would take you to get a hold of your bank to set up a meeting to buy physical gold lol.

""How Much Is Ryan Cohen Salary As GameStop's CEO ?
Zero, zip, zilch, nada
—that's Ryan Cohen's salary as the CEO of GameStop.

GameStop’s late-September statement announcing Cohen as CEO also announced that the new CEO’s salary would be $0. This should not have been surprising, however.

Cohen has refrained from accepting any form of compensation during his tenure as a GameStop executive in recent years"....BEFORE he became CEO.

Whats up Overnight,

Yes I am Overnight.

Tell me how to make $1 million this year man
Or tell me what I missed.

You missed it, for the umpteenth time in a row...

The SP went up ~700 points since the start of the year.

In the ES, 700 points @ $50 per point is $35,000 per contract.

Ergo, if you had just gone long 30 contracts at the start to the year, you'd have your million. (1.05 million to be exact on the gross).

This is the last time I am doing this math for you.

What has me scratching my head is the stock is not only not crashing but is almost getting stronger the last few days. That cant be just kids on their iPhone and Robinhood account like it was in 2021. I mean it traded 107 million shares today for cripes sake. For a $29 stock! Gotta be some big players in there as well.

Anecdotally, I noted an article today about one of the biggest banks in Sweden having GME as their largest position in a particular tech fund... The fund AUM was just like $7 million though when I checked so small potatoes. But yeah there's institutional trading in this.
