I use Vizio VU42LF's as monitors @ 1920x1080. As to whether your video card can push them, you need to compare the specs on the card to the resolution you want to run on the tv.
I currently have four 42" screens on my main trading system at my homestead but I'm not there much (I travel a lot). The mobo manuf (Asus) calls it their "workstation" series card capable of eight monitors (4 x PCIeX16 slots) but I have found single height cards which will allow up to 16 monitors (4 monitors per single height card x 4 cards but I'll never do that). One day I may have eight monitors and maybe not. It's awesome to be able to get up and stretch, walk across the room, etc and still have a great view of what's going on without having your face stuck in a screen and your ass stuck in a chair.
