Nonsense. Where do you think those people came from who find themselves unemployed, without health insurance, homeless. Makes zero sense to suggest left wing policies caused this. No, a system causes this that propagates a "winner takes all" mentality. A system without much of a welfare net. A system, that provides tons of loopholes to the wealthy but taxes the hell out of the middle class. A system where jealousy and FoMo is celebrated. A system that the same people created that are now suffocating by it. It's a complex and deep problem. What I will never understand is why America has such a hard time to look at, learn from, and copy from those nations that have some of the happiest people on earth, people with a relatively low wealth gap, a healthy and prosperous middle class. Whenever I hear Americans comparing themselves to other countries its either evil China, evil Venezuela, or evil Russia. You never hear anyone praise Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Japan, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Holland, New Zealand, Australia. Is it so hard to admit there are many nations out there that are performing way better on many metrics? It's shortsighted to try to reduce everything to left vs right.

Why do you think the rich does not deserve their money and once you become richer than the average person it has to be taken from you by the rest? Why is it ok to count the wealth of your neighbor? Envy?

I think he/she is speaking of reason, life is about each other instead another , sometimes you forget someone is there when you have too much money, he/ is just pointing out some are not built like the capitalist of the world, show some understanding by giving alums directly to the needy(free college/ healthcare/cheap housing/clean water/safe community/clean food)...

Why not just have the govt to print more money? Why allow individuals to earn wealth with one hand and take it away with another? The role of the govt is to encourage charitable donations not take money by law, i.e. applying its police power. What's the point of making money then?

Value creation is the work/proof of work, why devalue the value that people created through hard work? An investment in value of well being of others improves the human condition without destroying value...

I don't mind govt assistance programs if govt can do it with its own profits. Like from the postal services fees which the govt charges people regardless of their financial situation. Or through its own investments. One has to make money before spending it. I don't think it's a good idea that one is spending money that they didn't earn.

Well, bailing out once in a lifetime the economy itself is different from bailing out people day after day. As for tax loopholes, it's their money after all taken away from them with or without 'loopholes'. They are on the receiving end of govt taxes either way. So what tax 'loopholes' do you have in mind and why do you believe it's wrong?
